Konferencja organizowana jest w ramach VI edycji programu studiów podyplomowych „Mechanizmy funkcjonowania strefy euro” realizowanych na WNE UW w ramach programu edukacji ekonomicznej NBP. Uczestnikami konferencji będą przedstawiciele największych ośrodków akademickich w Polsce, Narodowego Banku Polskiego oraz Ministerstwa Finansów. Wśród gości specjalnych warto wymienić prof. Elżbietę Mączyńską z Polskiego Towarzystwa Ekonomicznego, dr Pawła Sameckiego z Zarządu Narodowego Banku Polskiego, prof. Jerzego Osiatyńskiego z Rady Polityki Pieniężnej, czy prof. Jana Toporowskiego z Uniwersytetu Londyńskiego. W trakcie konferencji zaplanowane są wykłady gości specjalnych, dyskusje z udziałem audytorium oraz dyskusje w sekcjach tematycznych. W trakcie konferencji ukaże się recenzowana książka „Strategie gospodarcze i społeczne Unii Europejskiej”..

Konferencja odbędzie się w dniach 28-29 września 2015 roku, na Wydziale Nauk Ekonomicznych Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, przy ul. Długiej 44/50, 00-241 Warszawa.
